Malaysians Unplugged Uncensored
In the early days of Merdeka Malaysia had a citizenship of 48% Malays, 40% Chinese and 5% Indians, the three main communities and we all lived happily; although under the constitution the Malays had entrenched their special privileges for 15 years (?). There was relative happiness among all Malaysians. In the early days Mr Lee Kuan Yew led the PAP and Mr Lim Kit Siang was the leader of the PAP Malaysian arm. We were all very enthusiastic about the prospect of a Malaysian Malaysia which was the battlecry of Mr Lee Kuan Yew; but then when the PAP made some meaningful advancement in the first election held in an Independant Malaysia, UMNO took it upon itself to dominate Malaysia as they have done for all of these 50 years. However, Singapore under the able leadership of Mr Lee Kuan Yew rejected UMNO's manoeuver and stood his ground to remain autonomous from UMNO domination; this was his most momentous decision and one that saved Singapore from DYSFUNCTIONAL AND RACIST politics of today's Malaysia. Any fool can see the difference in the quality of national leadership of Malaysia under an UMNO government and the quality of leadership of Singapore under a government of PAP. The stand off between Malaysia and Singapore was solved by the separation of Singapore from the Federation.
50 years on and we see the difference between Singapore, which has progressed into the ranks of a FIRST WORLD NATION and ranked in the top 4th or 5th most competitive nation in the world and Malaysia is ranked somewhere in the 38th. Why is there this difference, when it was Malaysia that had all the natural resources and abundant land and Singapore had ONLY HUMAN RESOURCES AND NOTHING ELSE ! I was a student in Singapore at this time. I remember that it was at dinner time when all of us staying at RAFFLES HALL were having our dinner; then suddenly Mr Lee Kuan Yew came on the TV to speak on the separation from Malaysia. He was in tears and in a speech sometimes, choking, announced that Singapore was forced out of the Federation and that Singapore was going it alone. I have no doubt that he must have realised that Singapore had nothing but people to build a viable economy and community. We too sensed his agony, and I sensed that all of us in the hall felt an air of near despair. Mr Lee in his biography related his exprience in his first speech in the first Malaysian Parliament. He warned that a Malaysia that had entrenched RACISM CANNOT SUCCEED AND THAT THE PEASANT CLASS WILL REMAIN AN UNDERCLASS. Sad to say he believed that his message had penetrated his listeners, but that they will prefere to keep the status quo. I believe his forecast on this point has borne out, and that in spite of what UMNO has propagandized the advancement of the Malays under the aegis of the NEP, in truth the peasant class of the Malays has not progressed or if at all, very negligibly at best. We must all bear in mind that there are 22 million Malays; how many of these 22 million had benefited from education ? How Many of these 22 million made to the Universities, even if we allow that all Malays get places in the Universities. In any case there are an ARMY OF UNIVERSITY GRADUATED UNEMPLOYABLES OUT THERE DOING WORK THAT A TENTH OF THEIR NUMBERS ARE REQUIRED IN OTHER DEVELOPED NATIONS NEED. What is the difference between a graduate who BOUGHT HIS DEGREE AND ONE WHO HAS GRADUATED FROM A MALAYSIAN UNIVERSITY ? In terms of FUNCTIONING IN A JOB OF HIS TRAINING, THEY ARE BOTH THE SAME; THEY ARE UNEMPLOYABLES ! Tell me if there is any value in this bullshit of Kutuaan Melayu ?
I speak to my Chinese brothers & sisters, it is past the time for you to assert you citizenship rights or migrate. There were 5 million Chinese Malaysians at the time of Merdeka and today there are still 5 million Chinese in Malaysia ? If the Chinese beget as normal there should be as many Chinese as there are Malays. Where are all the Chinese ? In Singapore, Australia, USA Canada, Taiwan, China, USA, England, New Zealand etc...etc. It is sad to say that through the agency of MCA the Chinese have been terrorised by an impending "513" and recently this Hissamuddin fellow had weilded his rusty Malay KRIS to put the fear of god in the Chinese. I say to my Chinese brothers that you have had your balls casterated for far too long. It is disgusting that you have lived for 50 years under a cloud of fear. Throw off your fear and demand your rights as Malaysian citizens. Make Dato Seri Anwar your Prime Minister and make Pakatan your government. If Anwar does not deliver then elect UMNO; but you need to change UMNO for Pakatan before you can re-elect UMNO if Anwar does not deliver; this can only happen if MCA supports Pakatan.
